Reasons Why You Are Unlikely To Be Reelected
04/25/11 – President Obama - Here are just some of the reasons why the people who voted for you in 2008 will possibly not support your reelection: Guantanamo is still open; America continues to support repressive dictators in the Middle East with a double standard; America continues to support the Apartheid Israeli government in their illegal occupation of the Palestinian Territory and the senseless slaughter of innocent Palestinians; You have alienated the Hispanic community by failing to bring about comprehensive immigration reform and by the deportation of hundreds of thousands who should not be separated from their families; You have failed to open and normalize relations with Cuba; You continue to allow dangerous offshore deep well drilling and you continue to support nuclear power rather than boldly going forward with a job creating alternative energy program; You are in bed with the pirates and bandits on Wall Street and have allowed and supported these crooks as they have lead America to the brink of bankruptcy; You promised to march with unions if they came under attack, and then abandoned them when it became a reality in Wisconsin; You lead Americans to believe that you would bring about real health care reform and then helped the HMOs and big pharma to increase their stranglehold on a system that is severely flawed; Rather than end wars, you have lead America deeper into expanding conflicts; You claimed your campaign was “grassroots,” while taking millions from the very corporations who, today, are largely responsible for America's economic dilemma; Furthermore, you appointed many of these people to top positions in your cabinet undermining any claim to transparency; Your education program is leading to every child being left behind; You have totally ignored the Progressive wing of your party and their intelligent 2012 budget proposal; And, finally, you have chosen Jim Messina, former Chief of Staff for two of the Senate's most conservative Democrats to manage your reelection campaign.
