You call this a Democracy?

2/17/11 – President Obama – You have gone on record attacking Iran for the way they are handling their protests. You chastised them for using force and killing protesters while leaving the impression that the Egyptian protest was peaceful. You forgot to mention that at least 365 people were killed by pro-Mubarak forces during the 18-day revolution. Even worse, you still appear to be supporting the regimes in Bahrain, Yemen, Algeria, Morocco, and Libya. These countries all feature U.S. supported dictators who have clearly shown that they are only too willing to turn their police forces against peaceful protesters. The same can be said about the Zionists Israeli government who have abused the Palestinians for 60 years. They all have blood on their hands and they are all using American made weapons against their people. Your silence and twisting of the truth rings loud among the growing list of countries who despise the U.S. For their hegemony and imperialistic tendencies. How long will you stand by? How many people have to die in the name of peace and democracy – killed by U.S. supported thugs?

Here's a rhetorical question for you. If Americans occupied Washington for 18 days of peaceful protest, how many would now be dead and imprisoned by America's totally out-of-control military and police? If Wisconsin's Governor calls out the National Guard on the thousands of peaceful protesters, will you stand idly by while the “law” wades into the crowds with batons and tear gas? Will you let your military abuse women and children who are a large part of the Madison protest? What is the line you will not cross?
